School Closings
On certain days during the winter months, safety becomes a concern and school must be closed. Administration will attempt to make this decision to close school by the 6 PM or 10 PM newscast the day before, or by 5:30 AM that morning. The principals and staff are notified through Texcaster or calling trees. The quickest way to be alerted of school closings is to sign up for USD 113 Text Message Alerts.
