Ms. Hertzler graduated from high school at Halstead High School, in Halstead Kansas in 2008. She then went to Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas following high school to play volleyball and get her associates degree. After Hesston she attended Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas to get her Bachelor in Science and her K-12 Physical Education and Health degree. She also played volleyball at Bethel and was a part of the track team for 2 years. Ms. Hertzler has been at Sabetha High School since the 2015-2016 school year and coaches Middle School Volleyball and Basketball and coaches high school track with the focus on the long and triple jump. Ms. Hertzler spends her free time hunting, fishing, spending time with family, sewing, or running and walking her dog Lola. She also travels to Haiti in the summers to run a vacation bible school with Haiti Lifeline Ministries based out of Topeka, Kansas. She has been going there every summer since 2014. |
