Mrs. Werner is a 2nd grade teacher at Sabetha Elementary School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from K-State in 1987 and her Master of Science degree in 1992. She has taught MTSS, Kindergarten and grades 2 through 6 at Summerfield Elementary, Bern School, and Sabetha Elementary. Mrs. Werner and her husband own and operate Little Joe’s Service in Axtell. They have four children, Casey Hulsing (Independence, MO), Paige Werner (Springdale, AR), Alexis Mumford (Topeka), and Clark Werner. She has three grandchildren, Ruby Elizabeth Hulsing, Willum Joseph Hulsing, and Etta Jane Haines-Werner. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, tending to her plants, traveling, and attending concerts with her husband, sister, and brother-in-law. They've traveled to many places, including Nashville, Pittsburgh, and Colorado. Together they've enjoyed John Waite, Styx, Foreigner, Sheryl Crow, Eagles, Chris Stapleton, George Strait, Little Big Town, Journey, Def Leppard, Steve Miller Band, and recently attended Killer Queen at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. |
