The students in the Composition for Publication-Technology class, which is also known as Yearbook, have one main focus: to work together to produce the best book they can while telling the story of the year.The yearbook is a student publication, so there are often errors, but the staff tries their best to make a great book. The staff also gathers photos and puts together the slideshows that are shown during the athletic banquet and graduation ceremony. In addition, staff members supply photos for the hallways downstairs at Sabetha High School, the board of education office, the district website, the local newspaper, the USD #113 Foundation, and others (upon request and when time is available). The yearbooks are not sold for enough to cover their cost, so the yearbook staff also raises funds for the remaining costs of the yearbook and camera equipment. They raise funds through book sales, homecoming corsage sales, working concessions, and other various fundraisers.
